Jim is in the process of re-designing his garage. Now that his wife Sarah has a new position for a local company, he set up his old down-stairs office for her to work out of. Since he gave up his office, he is hoping he can turn the garage into another living space. Besides, the garage really should be cleaned up any way. Jim went ahead and installed some new cabinetry for some of the excess junk he had. He even decided to re-paint the walls and put in new trim and baseboard—figuring that would really brighten the place up. About three weeks into his project he spilled some oil on the floor when moving his tools around. All at once it hit him – the floor! He needed to do something with the unfinished concrete floor to really make the place come alive. But how could he do that with all the oil stains he had accumulated over the years. Would anything work? Not only that, but what kind of flooring would be best? He decided to go ahead and call the professionals for advice and installation. That way he wouldn’t have to worry about a thing, plus he could continue working on finishing his small tool bench.
In a few days the technicians arrived and began working. To his surprise, the oil on the floor could be ground off by a special floor grinder and prepped for a finish coating the very next day. He was expecting a lot of dust but the technicians used a special Hepa-vacuum cleaner to keep the dust minimal. The second day they began spreading the finish coat that he had asked for. They even gave him options on colors and coatings so that he could match the floor with the rest of his garage décor. The very next day, Jim and Sarah walked out on the brand new floor. It was completely dry in one night! The garage now looks beautiful and the floor will last for years to come. Sarah turned to Jim and asked if she could work up-stairs in the bran new garage. Jim replied, “Not a chance.”
Well done on the new garage Jim!
